Ducks raised in our farm by our own ‘Brothers Birds’ contribute to our diverse grazing program. The Muscovy ducks are put in open air “tractors” and moved among our pastures three times a day to forage for a variety of bugs in the soil as well as eating the grass and alfalfa. We offer them a rationed grain supplement and unlimited fresh water. As will all of our livestock the ducks are raised without the use of antibiotics and added growth hormones. They are taken to a inspected butcher after they’re done grazing our pastures.
